Gojima Cheeseburger $12.90

šŸ’šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø8 | 8 | 8 | Honestly one of the more unique burgers that I’ve had. The grilled sushi rice had an amazing texture that complemented perfectly with the seaweed and the filling. The patty itself was quite juice, the cheese just melted, and the sauce was nicely mayo-ish ! Definitely something worth trying and I highly recommend going if you haven’t been to Gojima already

šŸ’šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø8.5 | 8.5 | 8.5 | I genuinely think I have found one of my favorite restaurants in terms of the uniqueness factor of the burgers. To replace the normal burger buns with seaweed and rice that has a crispy crunch to it is ingenious. The look of the burgers themselves are also incredible and extremely photogenic.

Spicy Tuna Sushi Burger $14.90

šŸ’šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø8.5 | 8 | 7.5 | Spicy + mayo is one of my all time favourite combinations, and with the fresh tuna made for a wonderful sushi burger ! I actually liked this one a bit better than the cheeseburger I think since it was a little bit spicy and had a bit more oomph !

šŸ’šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø8.5 | 8.5 | 8.5 | I personally love sushi and I love burgers so mashing them together only means more greatness. The spicy tuna really works well with this style of burger and just goes to show how creative you can really get with food in this day and age.

Japanese style Southern Fried Chicken

Regular - 4 pieces $14.90

šŸ’šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø8 | 8 | 7.5 | Such juicy chicken ! The first bite I took out of the drumstick was absolutely amazing and the chicken juice just dripped everywhere. The seasoning also tasted amazing - a nice balance of a herby and salty flavour. The only thing is that I can’t really eat too much oily food and I had to stop eating after a drumstick ! Will definitely try out a bit more next time !

šŸ’šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø8.5 | 8.5 | 8 | I have rarely been to places where they sell fried chicken that still literally drips with juice after you take a bite from it. I have to say, this chicken is up there in terms of taste, texture and juiciness. To make sure I wasn’t wasting any chicken, I licked the bones cleannnn, a sign of deliciousness

Regular Fries with Gojima Umami salt $3.90

šŸ’šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø7 | 7.5 | 8 | The fries weren’t that amazing to be honest. The umami salt was like seaweed flakes on top of the fries, which tasted a little bit old :( I’m a fry connoisseur myself (having worked at McDonalds for 2 years when I was younger) and I know how fresh fries are and unfortunately I think the batch we got were just a little bit old. The box that it came in was super cute though !

šŸ’šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø7.5 | 7.5 | 7.5 | Fries can be something hard to perfect, you either like them a certain way or you don’t. One thing I love is the thinness of the fries, something that Maccas have in common. They were a little less hot (temperature wise) than I would have hoped however they were still relatively nice. The green powder sprinkled on top was a nice extra addition of saltiness.

Strawberries and Cream Thickshake $7.90

šŸ’šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø8 | 8 | 7.5 | You could taste the real strawberries in this thickshake which was surprising since usually with strawberry flavoured things they just use the artificial pink flavouring. I could actually feel the seeds on my tongue which made me very happy !

šŸ’šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø8.5 | 8.5 | 8 | My knowledge of thickshakes usually comes from Maccas thickshakes which is generally my go-to, however this drink was absolutely delicious. It was thick but still suckable through the straw which shows promising signs of a good shake.
