💁🏻‍♀️8 | 8 | 7.5 | When I went into the restaurant I didn’t even realise that it was a chain from Bar Luca! I honestly thought it was another burger chain popping up in Newtown. The Blame Canada burger lived up to its usual amazingness. The bacon was nice and crispy, but not too crispy that it took away from the whole burger.

The patty was nice and juicy, and the poutine and sauce combination oozed juicy, delicious fattiness that is perfect for a cold winter’s day ! Honestly one of the best burgers that I’ve ever had (but look to the T-Ruffle burger below too!)

💁🏻‍♂️8 | 8 | 8 | Generally, it is really hard for burger joints to successfully deliver on all factors that make a burger a burger. Loaded by BL is definitely an exception with incredible combinations which especially make up this masterpiece.

I personally love to have fries in my burgers as it adds a nice texture and just adds another layer of salty goodness. Picking up the burger just releases an unbelievable amount of saucy and juicy goodness.

💁🏻‍♀️8.5 | 8.5 | 7.5 | Only one word to describe this amazing burger - WOW! A lover of truffles and mushrooms and anything kind of fungus-y (edible, of course), this burger hit all the right spots.

The mushroom inside was so juicy, and paired perfectly well with the beefy patty and the melted cheese.

I actually ran out of things to say because you NEED to try this burger if you like mushrooms as much as I do hehe

💁🏻‍♂️8.5 | 8 | 8 | Combining a slab of juicy mushroom goodness into a burger can only mean well. Just from the first bite, the soft and squishy bun, juicy mushroom and patty, and the crispy bacon create an incredible flavour profile. Usually I find the issue with fried bacon is either it comes quite too crispy almost like the texture of a chip or comes much softer in consistency. This burger nails the bacon consistency.

Would definitely eat again just to experience that first bite again.

Customised Loaded Fries (We got Shoestring Fries, Southern Fried Chicken and Cheese Curds with Black Garlic Aioli

💁🏻‍♀️7.5 | 7.5 | 7.5 | To be honest I’m not sure if it’s the flavour combination that we chose that was a bit strange. One thing that I’ve definitely noticed over the past couple of meals is that we are getting sick of fried chicken because we eat it so much, and so getting the Southern Fried chicken may have been a bit too much.

The cheese curds were very nice - mostly melted but just a little bit chewy, and the black garlic aioli was incredible too! The only downside is that the fries got a little soggy, but we did eat it super slowly.

💁🏻‍♂️8 | 7 | 7 | First and foremost, I don’t think I have been to a place yet that offers loaded fries with such a large range of choices in flavours and combinations. The menu for the individual choices and flavours alone nearly filled up almost half the board!

It definitely tastes as good as it looks, a mess of fries, cheese, chicken and aioli. Would love to be able to see what kind of combinations could be made to make the experience even better.
