Menya Ramen with Shoyu based soup $12.90
💁🏻♀️6.5 | 8 | 7 | Not a big fan of the soup - although it was a nice consistency, it was a bit bitter and too porky for my taste. There was a bit too much pork fat in the soup too which made it a bit heavy. The noodles were nice and bouncy; and the pork itself was alright. Altogether would prefer Ippudo ramen over this because the soup is a lot cleaner.

💁🏻♂️7 | 7 | 6 |This ramen has nothing on Ippudo, not really a big fan of the thick
soup but it was definitely a lot better than the other place (Gumshara). Really liked the meat, it was quite tender, not a big fan of bamboo overall so this one ain’t it
Takoyaki (8pcs) $8.90
💁🏻♀️7 | 7 | 7 |The takoyaki was pretty average - I feel like without the BBQ sauce it would be a bit bland. The octopus was not very flavourful either and the bonito flakes seemed a little bitter for my taste too.
💁🏻♂️8 | 7 | 6 | I love those pink wavy things so anything you put on it will taste amazing, they were quite firm to the bite so this indicates that it was probably frozen or prepared a while ago and simply reheated and so for that it loses some points, but overall not too shabby but have had better takoyaki before.
