The Soup Noodles

💁🏻‍♀️ 6 | 8 | 7 | To be very honest still not a big fan of these noodles. They kind of reminded me of preserved bamboo shoots that my parents eat at home and I do not like anything preserved at all :( But the noodles were very chewy and the soup (minus the bamboo shoots flavour) was very nice! I especially liked how soft the noodles were!

💁🏻‍♂️ 8 | 7 | 7 | At first the smell that the soup gave off was quite interesting as it reminded me of liver and thus didn’t seem like it would be quite as appealing. However, after actually tasting the soup I really enjoyed how it was a mixture of salty and sweet flavours. The noodles in my opinion were a little soft for my liking but overall quite a decent tasting dish.

The chicken

💁🏻‍♀️ 7.5 | 7.5 | 7 | I really liked the chicken but it wasn’t spicy enough :( The combination of the chilli oil and the peanut sauce was very satisfying, but the only thing is that the chicken itself was a little bit uneven in terms of the texture - but it did give the dish some character! I did like the vegetables at the end though! Only vegetables I ate the whole day HAHAHAH

💁🏻‍♂️ 8 | 7 | 7 | Pretty much what you would expect from chicken dunked in chilli oil. Some chicken pieces were more flavoursome than others which was a little disappointing. Although, the more I ate the chicken the more that I enjoyed it as it was actually quite tasty. The chilli wasn’t too overpowering as well which was quite nice.
